HARVEST THRIFT & BOUTIQUE

As of November 1, 2011 Harvester of Souls International Ministries has been blessed with the opportunity to serve our community and the church of Christ through the operation of our Harvest Thrift & Boutique. The Harvest Thrift & Boutique is a non-profit organization that is designed to generate revenue for the work of the ministry. Our efforts range from holding monthly evangelistic events for the “un-churched” to placing those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction into Christ-centered rehabilitation programs. It goes without saying that there is a great amount of overhead involved in the operation of any ministry.

The Lord has opened up a number of doors in order for us to begin operating in our current location, and he continues to bless us daily in the receiving of merchandise donations for sale—but at the moment we lack one thing—a steady stream of customers! We’re reaching out to our fellow citizens of the kingdom and ministers of the gospel in hopes that they’ll be able to help us out in this area. Would you consider partnering with us in getting the word out about the Harvest Thrift & Boutique

We offer a wide selection of both new and pre-owned items at affordable prices; everything from furniture to clothing to children’s items and accessories. You can visit our website or give us a call if you have any questions. We hope to see you soon! May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.

Your Help Is Needed!

Please consider offering a bit of support to Harvester of Souls International Ministries (HOSIM), either financially, or in your prayers. We are a small congregation, comprised of about 20 full time members and a few frequent visitors. A couple of months ago we had a family leave the church, and as you can imagine, in a small church, the loss of even a single person, let alone an entire family, is felt. Not only did we lose the gifts and talents that they brought to the church, we lost the income that they brought as well. In addition to this we discovered a thief in the congregation who stole hundreds of dollars from the church's offerings. We've been struggling to pay the rent and utilities on our building and at the moment we are in a severe financial crunch.

I realize that the economy isn't the best it's ever been, and I know that this is the holiday season and people are tapped out, so a request for financial aid at such a time must seem unduly burdensome. It pains me to have to reach out on behalf of the church in such a manner, but as James said, "You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions" (Jas. 4:2-3). I pray that in expressing this need that I have not asked wrongly, and while the folks at HOSIM are passionate about the gospel, I don't think this is the "passion" that James had in mind.

If you are not able to sow a monetary seed at this time then please consider partnering with us in prayer. Pray first and foremost for the work of the ministry to be carried out no matter what the circumstances, and secondly, pray that God provide the funds we need. If you do decide to donate to then you can do so through the Paypal link provided in this post. All donations are tax deductible. You can contact me at admin@hosim.org in order to provide me with the information so I can send a receipt of your donation. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
